Mary J. Blige is celebrating another orbit around the sun with a small gathering of her closest friends. The Queen of Hip Hop-Soul has established a reputation for hosting opulent birthday parties for her renowned friends. The celebrations were well documented in images and films, as usual, and the entire globe was envious.

“WOW!!! She wrote on Instagram, “What a night!!! Nothing compares to having a great time with someone you truly love and who also loves you! That energy was out of this world and wild! Everyone deserves praise for their birthday love! I’m still healing from Saturday, but I’m very happy!!!

Blige reportedly had dinner at the newest VIP club at Chop House Time Square, 47 Below. Naturally, there was a unique cake, sparkles, and a special supper with attendees including Fat Joe and DJ SnS.

Remy Ma and Papoose, Usher, Joseph Sikora, Joey Bada$$, Queen Latifah, La La Anthony, Chrissy Lampkin, and Jimmy Iovine were also on the guest list.

According to reports, Mary J. Blige celebrated Fat Joe’s 52nd birthday there in August of last year.
