Scott Short Obituary, Scott Short Has Passed Away
Scott Short Obituary, Death – On June 10, 2023, Scott D. Short, who was born in Valparaiso and lived in Hobart, Indiana, passed away there. He was 58 years old. On December 23, 1964, in the community of Valparaiso, Jack C. and Shirley A. (Montoney) Short became parents for the first time to a son whom they named Christopher. On April 17, 1999, Scott married Brenda Cole, and she is the one who is still living at this time.
Their wedding took place in Florida. The majority of Scott’s boyhood was spent on the farm that he and his family owned, where he worked as a farmer. In addition to that, he was employed by the Street Department of the City of Valparaiso for a while, both as a truck driver and an operator of light equipment. He spent a lot of his spare time participating in tractor pulls and fishing.
These were two of his favorite activities to do in his spare time. When it came to cracking jokes, Scott could do it in the blink of an eye. Among the individuals he leaves behind are his stepsons Christopher Cole and Bryan (Stacey) Cole of Lake Station, his brother Greg Short and his wife Wendy of Valparaiso, his sister Amy Hughes and her husband Chris of Union Mills, as well as his six step-grandchildren.
The visitation for the memorial will start at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, and continue until 5:30 PM the same day. The memorial service will get underway at 5:30 in the evening. In lieu of typical flower arrangements, the family has that donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children be made in the honor of the deceased.
