John Tanksley Obituary, Death – We have been left in complete and utter disbelief by the news of John Tanksley’s passing, and we are making an impassioned plea to the entirety of the Springfield community to join us in expressing our deepest, most sincere condolences to the Tanksley family, as well as to the young people who had the utmost respect for him as a coach and a mentor.

The news of John Tanksley’s departure has left us in a state of deep and profound grief. There is no way to match the level of care and concern that Coach Tanksley shown for both his players and his students because it was just unparalleled. This is the case because there is no way to measure up to it. Because it sets such a high standard for us to reach, we will never stop trying to live up to the example that he demonstrates for us by demonstrating unflinching loyalty and unflinching support for us at all times.

The bar that he places before us is one that we will never stop trying to raise for ourselves. It is planned that our football team will show up for practice on the 12th of June, 2023, at four o’clock in the afternoon. We will make it easy for anyone who would like to meet with a counselor to do so in the cafeteria by placing counselors there and making it clear how to approach them.

This will make it possible for anyone who would like to speak with a counselor to do so. This will be done in order to ensure that adequate room is made available for the biggest number of people feasible. When all of the specifics of the memorial services have been worked out, we will make it a top priority to disseminate the information to the greatest number of individuals in the shortest amount of time that is humanly possible.
