Greg Turvey Obituary,  Death – On May 31st, Greg Turvey, a well-respected member of our staff, went away unexpectedly. The day after tomorrow, we will all say our final goodbyes to him. Greg has maintained a long-standing affiliation with Wintulichs and has been essential in the development of the firm into the prosperous institution that it is today. Wintulichs has benefited greatly from Greg’s contributions.

He committed every waking moment to following his passion and making the finest artisanal smallgoods. Because of the tremendous amount of knowledge that he possessed and the readiness with which he transmitted it, he earned a great degree of respect among both customers and vendors in the sector. Greg’s contributions to Wintulichs were quite helpful, and as a result, we all reaped the benefits of his work. He never ceased thinking up new recipes and concepts, which is how he was able to pull off such impressive feats.

His taste buds were extraordinary; he could take a piece of mettwurst or kransky and then write down the specific elements that went into producing the dish. He was able to do this because he was a chef. We are appreciative of Greg’s ability to persevere with the more minute components of the production process. He always had the enthusiasm to excitedly discuss things like boxes and bags, and we found that to be very helpful.

Over the course of the last three years, Greg has been involved in a battle with his health, and he has been conscious that he is unlikely to emerge victorious from this conflict. His persistent dedication to advancing in his life served as an example for each and every one of us to follow in his footsteps. We spent time with Greg, fully knowing that this was a priceless opportunity for both of us to learn expertise and to have him alongside us as we directed Wintulichs towards a profitable future.
