Geoff Mason Obituary, Death – The passing of Geoff Mason has directly led to a period of great grieving within the West Footscray Football Club, and this mourning period is currently in progress. Mason was recognized as one of the clubmen and servants at the West Footscray Football Club who provided the most time and effort to the organization. He was noted for his commitment to the club. During this trying time, we want Paula, Daniel, and Shannon, as well as the rest of their family, to know that we are thinking about and praying for all of them and that we are keeping their entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

Geoff was a member of the club for close to half a century, and during that time, he made a number of contributions to the organization in a variety of different ways. These efforts were made both on and off the field throughout Geoff’s tenure with the club. As part of his responsibilities, he was in charge of the team’s coaching, management, and scouting operations.

Because of the significant amount of time and effort that he has contributed to the Roosters over the course of the previous few years, the award that is presented by the club for Outstanding Achievements has been renamed in his honor and will now be presented in his honor going forward.

This is in recognition of the fact that the award will now be presented in his honor going ahead. This action was taken so that we could express our gratitude to him for the contributions that he has made to the team in both of these areas. After hearing the news of his leaving, absolutely everyone will, without a shadow of a doubt, be overtaken with feelings of melancholy.
