Eddie Davis Obituary,  Death – Edward “Eddie” Allen Davis, who was 83 years old when he died on April 6, 2023, went to be with the Lord after passing away peacefully at home with his wife, Carol, and two children, Shawn and Brian, by his side. Edward “Eddie” Allen Davis was known as Eddie. He was laid to rest on April 6. He had devoted his entire life to the Christian faith.

Ed was born and raised in the city of Alliance, Ohio, and he has been working as a meat butcher at Hillcrest Market for more than 60 years. He is well-known in the community for his work in this capacity. A cumulative total of six years were spent with Ed serving in the Army Reserve.

Participating in the activities of his grandchildren, spending time with his extended baseball family, watching sports on television, and taking great care in the beautiful, emerald grass that surrounding his home were the things that brought Ed the most joy when he wasn’t at work.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Carol; four sons, Shawn (Melanie) Davis of Louisville, Scott (Marcy) Davis of Alliance, John (Kevin) Zamora of Salem, and Brian (Samantha) Calladine of Alliance; grandchildren, including Carson, Caden, Morgan, Madeline, Bo, Leah, and Emily; nieces, Lisa, Chris, Sherry, Lori; nephew, Joey; and his sister Carol (Jim) Bales. Mildred, Ed’s mother, and Ernest Davis, Ed’s father, both passed away prior to Ed’s birth. Ed was the only child they had left after all their others.
