Douglas Putnam Motorcycle Accident, Death – On Saturday, June 10, 2023, Douglas K. Putman, Jr., age 40, who had formerly resided in Pawtucket, passed away with members of his family by his side. Since the 10th of June in 2017, Amy M. (Galindo) Putnam has been his wife, and he has been her spouse ever since. They first got married in 2017.
Doug was born in Providence, but he spent the majority of his childhood in Pawtucket and developed the majority of his life there. (Brochu) Ledo of Pawtucket, he was also the stepson of Lesley Putnam of Stoughton and David Ledo, Sr. of Pawtucket.
His biological father was from Stoughton, while his biological mother was from Pawtucket. Both Lesley Putnam and David Ledo, Sr. called Stoughton home, but David Ledo, Sr. called Pawtucket home. It was discovered that Douglas K. Putnam, Sr., who was originally from Stoughton, was in fact the man who fathered him. He served in both the Middle East and Afghanistan before he finally retired from active duty after spending his entire career in the military in both of those areas. During his time in the military, he was stationed in Afghanistan. He has a wealth of experience in the field of battle.
A Prayer Service will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 13, at 3:30 p.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, which is located in Pawtucket at 1008 Newport Ave. Following the funeral service, there will be a time for people to pay their respects to the deceased from four in the afternoon until seven in the evening. Attendance is strongly encouraged for anyone who is still finding it difficult to adjust to life after the death of a loved one. Private ceremonies will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
