Chris Barwick Obituary, Death – After a long battle with Multiple Myeloma, which he never gave up fighting all the way up until the very end, our friend and leader Chris Barwick passed away on June 1st. Chris had put in a lot of effort over the years to lay the groundwork for Ovenden Earthmoving and lead it toward becoming the successful business that it is today.

He was responsible for the company’s ability to work for some of the most reputable names in the business, which resulted in the establishment of strong bonds with customers and the completion of some truly remarkable projects. Chris has established such a reputable organization throughout the years, which has opened doors of opportunity for a great number of people. As a group, we feel an overwhelming sense of pride at having worked for him in the past and will continue to feel that way in the future.

Our entire organization is devastated by the news of Chris’s passing, and we all wish that time could just stop. However, Ovenden Earthmoving would like to reassure all of our clients, the majority of whom were Chris’s close friends, that the company, together with its tenacious crew, is here to stay and will continue delivering exceptional services to its valued clients as well as welcoming new ones. This is something that Ovenden Earthmoving would want to communicate to all of our clients.

Chris has been a tremendously helpful and instructive leader for all of us, whether it be in our professional or personal life. He would talk to anyone at any time of the day and his door was always left unlocked. Chris possessed such a great attitude and was truly passionate about life and the things he did; he was always looking forward and a real inspiration for a lot of people. He has every reason to be pleased with the significant legacy he has established for future generations.
