Bonnie Schloeg Obituary,  Death- On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Bonnie L. Schloegl, 73, of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, passed away suddenly at her residence. Rev. Jeremy Theis will preside at a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. The parish cemetery will be used for interment.

The Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre will be open for visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, and the church will be open from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday. At the funeral home, there will be parish prayers on Monday at 4 o’clock. George and Erma (Klein) Henry welcomed Bonnie Louise Henry into the world on November 25, 1949 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. She was raised in Sauk Centre and graduated from the high school there. Bonnie and Art were wed on March 9, 1968, after they first met.

Southeast of Grey Eagle, on a dairy farm, they co-raised three kids. After that, they relocated as Art worked in construction, eventually settling near Buffalo Lake. In order to be nearer to family and friends, they returned to Sauk Centre. She belonged to Sauk Centre’s St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Bonnie cherished her travels to the West, particularly to Montana. She was recognized for being the best cook, from her turtle to her bean casserole, and enjoyed taking care of her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Tammy Bruder, Jason Schloegl, and Jamie Schloegl, all of Sauk Centre; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; sisters Nona (Romie) Klaphake of Spring Hill; Rita (Duane) Frieler of Elrosa; and Ann (Ray) Hendershot of Long Prairie; brother Dick (Nancy) Henry of Avon; as well as a large number of devoted family members and friends.
