Bill McCale Obituary, Bill McCale Has Passed Away

Bill McCale Obituary,  Death – Bill McCale has sadly passed away, Please lend a helping hand to this incredible family during this difficult time. For a good number of years, Aiden has considered Tyler, a great young man, to be his most trusted companion. It would be very helpful if you could simply share the post with your friends. Despite the challenges that we are facing, my heart is filled with an overwhelming amount of love and support for this family.

He was the son of William Henry McCale and Cora (née Wilt) McCale, and he was born on September 8, 1946 in Norey, Pennsylvania. After another six years, his family relocated to Lorain, and he lived there until he graduated from high school and joined the Navy. He received his education in Lorain at the school that was formerly known as St. John Catholic School, and he graduated from Admiral King High institution in 1964 after having been a part of the institution’s first sophomore class when it opened in 1961.

Bill’s time spent as a Naval Airman on the aircraft carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt was the source of his greatest sense of pride. In addition to his duties as crew, he was the co-pilot of his indolent Commander Readon. He participated in 132 different missions over the jungles of Vietnam, delivering injured soldiers to the hospital ship below.

He participated in three rescue operations that took place on the water. The experience of riding in the Mock I after completing one of those rescues was the most exciting thing in his life. During those rescue operations, he was shot down twice, which is one of the reasons he was awarded the Purple Heart.
